The season draws ever closer. Continued work on the outfield has ironed out many of the indentations that could be felt underfoot. There are a few more areas to work on, and over time the outfield should settle and smooth into a real belter.

The square has 2 strips that can start to been seen - for those who have played here for years it can be a really eerie feeling standing 50cm lower when batting at the allotment end, or fielding round the square now the levels have so dramatically changed.

As ever there are photos from the last few weeks that show the gradual improvement across the playing surface. The ground is firm now and the density of grass is increasing. We are looking forward to a concentrated effort of work next week if the weather is good to us. Hopeful to see as many people (socially distanced) at Tugmutton for the first Home game on 22nd April (vs. Leigh).
