"100 Club"
It is now traditional at LBCC for the Honorary Treasurer, Graham Smart, to run a “100 Club” during the year. The “100 Club” is a bit like owning premium bonds whereby individuals can purchase one or more shares in the club which are valid for the year. These shares are then entered into a series of draws which pay out first, second and third place cash prizes. The series of draws culminates in a double value prize draw at the Annual Club Dinner in November. “100 Club” shares for 2012 will be £5 each. So even if purchasing a couple of shares is the most you can contribute this year, it will be gratefully received. You never know, you may even pick up a prize or two along the way!
Sponsor A Junior Cricket Coach
During the Winter, Spring and Summer LBCC will be running a series of Junior Nets and Coaching sessions for which the club funds two fully qualified ECB coaches to run. You can sponsor the coaches by donating £50 to the club. Your name will appear on the club’s website as a sponsor and in the forthcoming “Junior Cricket Development Programme” section of the website as a supporter and sponsor of LBCC’s Junior Cricket.
Junior Cricket Kit Sponsorship
You can also help in providing funds for the purchase and maintenance of cricket kit for our Junior Members, such as helmets, pads, gloves, bats, stumps and balls. A donation to the club can be made at your discretion, for which you will be named on the website as a supporter and sponsor of LBCC’s Junior Cricket.
Sponsorship Webpages and Links
As you will see down the right hand side on all pages of the club’s website, there are adverts for the Change of Horses and Wickham Windows. Clicking one of these adverts opens a webpage promoting the business. For £100 per year you or your company can have an advert and associated webpage created. For just £50 per year a link through to your own website can be provided.
Fixture Card Sponsorship
LBCC’s Fixture Card is produced prior to the beginning of each season and distributed to each club member and to the Fixture Secretaries of all clubs with whom we have agreed fixtures. It is also sent out to a number of other key club contacts. We are now looking for companies and individuals who would like to advertise within the 2012 Fixture Card. A one page advert will cost £50 and a half page advert £25.
Match Ball Sponsorship
You can help us to finance the cost of supplying cricket balls for the club’s “Away” fixtures throughout the season. For £20 you will be named on the club’s website as the Match Ball Sponsor for the fixture you decide to sponsor.
Match Day Sponsorship
Finance the cost of a Match Tea for the club’s “Home” fixtures by not charging when you are asked to provide tea. Alternatively donate £40 for provision of a Match Tea provided by another member. You will be named on the club’s website as the Match Day Sponsor for the fixture you decide to sponsor.
Cricket Week Match Day Sponsorship
LBCC’s Cricket Week will take place during the week commencing 20th August 2012. You can sponsor one of these fixtures in our showcase Cricket Week by donating £100. You will be named on the club’s website as the Match Day Sponsor for the fixture you decide to sponsor, and you will be mentioned in the Cricket Week report.
