Locksbottom CC have been working closely the partners associated in bringing the project to fruition. The works have a tight window of opportunity to be completed (August - October) due to the nature of the fine turf works. Because of this, it was in the best interests of the parties involved to postpone the ground work to 2020.

The change of date will give more time for contractors to tender for the project and a greater chance for the best expected outcome for the pitch.

Fundraising is still a key part of this project, and although efforts have so far been exceptional, there is still nearly £20,000 to cover all costs.
