This weekend we had the first sessions of the new LBCC juniors programmes for Under 11s, under 9s and the Lions (under 7s). 8 weeks of training, Saturday mornings 09:30-10:30.

LBCC saw the first softball game vs. Shoreham & Otford CC at Otford rec where the U11s and U9s combine for a softball team. In a 12 over game both sides got mid 70s through the completed overs, every player bowled an over, and it was a great experience for all - thanks to S&OCCs for being fabulous hosts. Onwards to the return fixture at Tugmutton next Sunday.

Big thanks to all the children for coming along with a great attitude and full of energy! The u11s started hardball training with our fabulous County player coaching them having recently qualified as an ECB core coach. The U9s and Lions enjoyed taking cricket beyond All Stars and Dynamos building on core skills. The inspiring set of Activators are there running drills and games across all age groups.

It’s been a HUGE commitment for LBCC to get to this stage - thanks to everyone who has been involved!

Saturday mornings from 13th July to 31st Aug, programmes of 8 sessions will run for the Lions, Under 9s and Under 11s. All three sessions will run 09:30 - 10:30.
