We’re excited to share plans for our 2025 LBCC Juniors cricket programmes, running from 11/12 July to 29/30 August, with 8 action-packed sessions to look forward to!
Here’s what you need to know:

Programme Overview
We’re offering fun, age-appropriate cricket sessions for children in Reception through Year 7, with a mix of softball and hardball cricket tailored to age and experience.
Please note: the school years below refer to the ones your child is in right now, during the 2024–25 academic year – not what they’ll move into in September.

U9 players can choose either Friday or Saturday, but not both. Please select your preferred sessions in the schedule.
Cost: £40 per child for the full programme

How to Sign Up
Registration is now open at www.locksbottomcc.co.uk
1. Create an account on the site (if you don’t already have one) as the parent.
2. Once logged in, add each child as a separate account under your profile.
3. Navigate to the Juniors section and select the appropriate 2025 team based on your child’s current school year.
4. Choose your preferred session (especially important for U9s) by filling in the schedule.
5. Complete payment by using the '2025 Jr Summer Programme' option in the shop to confirm your place.
Places are limited and fill up fast – book early to avoid disappointment!

Kit & Clothing
* New for 2025: We’ll be providing caps instead of shirts to keep things affordable and efficient (yellow for softball, green for hardball).

Coaching & Safety
* Sessions are delivered by qualified coaches and activators, supported by trained first aiders.
* We maintain excellent coach-to-player ratios to ensure every child learns and enjoys the game in a safe environment.

Looking Ahead
We’re working towards an even stronger future:
* Winter training coming in 2026, with separate groups for Softball, Advanced Softball, and Hardball.
* Continued focus on a welcoming, fun and community-led club experience.
