Excitingly, Locksbottom CC are going beyond the All Stars and Dynamos national programmes to provide a pathway to adult cricket. On Saturday mornings from 13th July to 31st Aug, programmes of 8 sessions will be delivered. Now is the chance to sign up for limited spaces to be part of the Locksbottom Juniors.
To progress the children into using a hard ball the Club is lucky enough to have an exceptional coach who will be with us for 2 hours each Saturday. Not only does she play for Locksbottom, but she was also Women’s Player of the Year at Gloucestershire County Cricket Club last year. Those who have taken part in All Stars and Dynamos know the brilliant volunteers who run the sessions and will look to undertake the Locksbottom Juniors. It’s great fun delivering cricket to the budding young cricketers that come along – you can look forward to more of the same!
You will be supplied with a t-shirt to play in which is included in the cost of the programmes. The Club will also supply hard ball equipment to use in those sessions.
Depending on demand of sign-ups as well as supply of volunteers and coaches, the 8-week programmes are yet to be finalised. Below is an example of what this might look like.
