We should see work happening over the next few weeks on the outfield: drainage, rolling, seeding and fertilising is part of the maintenance section of the project. We will see the fencing taken away and we will return to having the square sectioned off as we have been used to in the past.

There was a chance that we could have been scrambling to get seed on to an outfield that had limited grass growth given the wet weather that started in October, but we are fortunate to be in a great position with grass thriving across all but very small parts of the the whole area. It's only natural that the bowlers run ups will require some extra maintenance considering the amount of earth that was moved to smooth them out.
